Ethan Turns Two

I recently took a few portraits of my friends Karl and Becken’s two year old Ethan. I thought these two from the session were particularly fun. They were taken just before Halloween, and we had to get him all dressed up in his costume for a few pictures. Both of these were taken using my homemade beauty dish. You can see a few characteristics of that round-ish light in there. The edge of the light falls off in the first photo in a sort of round pattern, and in the second photo, you can see circular highlights in Ethan’s eyes. I may have to explain how I made this light in the near future. Until then, have a look at these:
