I seem to be on a real commuter railroad kick lately, with a Metra shot posted last time, but still, I couldn’t pass this one up. With more lake effect snow clouds hanging low over Lake Michigan, and a strategically placed extra line of clouds hanging over the inner suburbs of Chicago, the last light of a cold January day paints the sky a pinkish hue as a rush hour Metra train speeds it’s commuters home for the evening. This view of the BNSF mainline and the Chicago skyline is seen from the Cicero, IL Metra stop.
